AquaCise is a fun way of getting and keeping fit and improving your health.

AquaCise allows for a full range of movement without excessive strain as the buoyancy in the water helps support body weight and makes exercising less strenuous.

AquaCise is aerobic in nature as well as helping to develop flexibility.

Exercising in the water eliminates the jarring that can occur when exercising on land.

Water protects against overheating and makes exercise more comfortable and pleasant – but do remember to bring a water bottle!

AquaCise will help to improve the circulatory system and muscle tone, as well as your well-being and self esteem.

AquaCise is enjoyable and fun, with the social element a strong and important benefit.  Many of the exercises can be done in pairs or groups and interaction is encouraged.

Non-swimmers can participate in an AquaCise program and will build up their water confidence.

The massage action of water on the muscles helps increase circulation and is a relaxing and pleasant sensation.

The water medium acts as a resistance, therefore the intensity of the exercises can be changed by performing the exercise in water of various depths.  Deeper water can make the exercise harder by working upper and lower body simultaneously.

** Please note that during school holidays, the lunchtime sessions are 12:45pm - 1:45pm
