Ashburton Community Pool has a wide variety of programs to meet your requirements from lane swimming through to the great Ashswim Learn To Swim Programs.

The pool in its current state was opened on the 27th March 1982 when the facility was handed over to the community, governed by a Board of Control. Before this, it was an open air pool used by Ashburton College.
The six lane main pool is used predominantly as a lane swimming and recreation pool and the small/learner pool is used for learn to swim programs and for under 8's or weak/non swimmers to learn water confidence and practice swimming in a warm, safe environment.
The Main Pool is 33M x 15M with a depth range of 1mtr to 2mtrs. Temp between 27.5-28c
The Learner Pool is 12M x 5M with a depth range of 0.75mtr to 1mtr. Temp between 32-33c
